FOR THOSE OF YOU WITH school age children: Here is a question you should be asking yourself: Are you rich enough to support your children from the grave? Because with AI taking jobs away and with Covid and education reduced to zoom out sessions, can you afford your child losing two years of education? Because the wealthy had and still have tutors for their kids, the poor, well... But the middle class who has afforded their children a comfortable lifestyle, can you assure that your children will be able to maintain that lifestyle without the education they are missing out on?

WE ARE TUTORING ONE-ON-ONE ONLINE AND THE KIDS ARE DOING BETTER. For elementary kids, we assign classic literature, ask high level comprehension questions, teach vocabulary in context, and assign writing tasks. I have a kindergartner who did not know recognize her ABCs when we started and within a month, she is now ready to learn to read two sight words and word families. I work with her twice a week half hour each session. My going into fifth grader just completed an essay: Winnie's Choice based on Tuck Everlasting. And Phi is tutoring AP History, English Lit, historical fiction, etc. M.S. through H.S.

Siblings who are at home are just going to torture each other. I just started tutoring on line via FaceTime. It felt a LOT better than watching the news. Call us or message us via FB when you get sick of screaming at your kids!

Dear Students,
Now that it is official, it is important that you read good material and keep up with your writing and math and science.
It is also a good time to learn a second or third language.
Our schools and libraries are all closed. Feel free to FaceTime , to ask for recommendations for books to read, for writing prompts. All this could be done via Face Time. Play in your yards. Learn to garden. Draw. Paint. Play a musical instrument. Limit computer time. Keep a coronavirus diary. You are living through a war. It s a once in a lifetime experience and it will change the way you think.
