Video editors needed (non-pro's preferred) to help us with editing music videos for schools we work with. Your talents would be needed to help prepare individual performance music videos for final editing by our music education outreach company and our non profit charitable foundation. This is a perfect position for a hobbyist or an aspiring video editor (if you're a student, you may even be able to get credit for the work). Pay is dependent on the amount of source videos you'd be working with. If interested, please DM us and we'll be happy to give you more info!
Please do NOT contact us unless you meet the requirements below....
MUST BE ABLE TO:
- Proficiently use either Final Cut Pro X or Premier Pro
- Work with multiple source videos (anywhere from 30 - 300)
- Convert videos to a consistent frame rate
- Sync videos to each other with music track, which we supply
- Have the ability to recognize when a video is completely out of sync with the track and can not be used
- Stack videos on top of each other so there are 9-10 videos on the screen together
- Use the Mask effect to soften the rectangular boxes created from the stacking
- Apply a green screen as a background
Please keep in mind that you would be helping us in our mission to keep young musicians and singers engaged, inspired, and working towards a goal during these pandemic times when they cannot have in person concerts. We are helping them to express themselves by collaborating on these videos, come up with storylines, and end up with something they can be proud of.
