Huge Congrats to George Pasko on his commitment to play college soccer at University of Pittsburgh Johnstown. Your FC Family is so happy and proud of you. We can’t wait to follow your success.

Here’s what George had to say about his FC experience:

“Coming to FC was one of the best decisions I made in my career. Being with FC for five years helped me to grow as a player and a human being. FC has shaped me to be able to play at a competitive level and expose myself to colleges. Also a giant help in my growth was the training environment as it has pushed me to be better every training session. I would like to thank all the coaches that have supported me and helped me to improve.”

Congrats to Senior John Woods on his 2nd Team All Glacier Trails Conference selection.

John culminates an impressive high school career with this well deserved recognition.

Having relied on Woodsy to make tackle after tackle in the middle of the field for 3 seasons, there is another huge hole to fill!

Congrats to Angel Ramirez on his 2nd Team All Glacier Trails Conference selection this season.

Angel had 10 Goals and 10 Assists finishing 7th in total points across the conference.

Angel wraps up his high school career as a huge piece of the offense for 3 straight seasons and adds this selection to his 2nd Team All North Shore selection from last season.

Angel ends his career with over 65 games played, 50 starts and 50 total points leaving a huge offensive hole to fill going into next season!

We look forward to seeing where Angel plays at the next level.

Congrats to Junior Grayson Allen on his 1st Team All Glacier Trails Conference selection.

Grayson anchored a defense that allowed the least amount of goals in conference play!

Congrats to Scotty Bennett on his 1st Team All Glacier Trails Conference Selection.

Scotty was second in the conference in both goals and total points and finished the season 29th in the state in total points.

His 23 Goals and 13 Assists for 59 total Points are the most points in a season by a Pirate since Ryan Bolz in 2002.

Congrats to Senior George Pasko on taking home 1st Team All Conference Goalie for the new Glacier Trails Conference.

George led the conference with the least amount of goals against in conference play and posted a league high 4 conference shut outs.

George wraps up his high school career with an Honorable Mention All North Shore Conf award as a Sophomore, Honorable Mention All North Shore Conf award as a Junior, and now adds a 1st Team Selection his Senior season.

George ends his career with over 65 varsity games played and started and as a 2 year captain.

Congrats on a great high school career, you will be missed! We look forward to watching George at the next level as he works towards his soccer commitment.

Despite the season ending for the Pirates, don't want to forget to highlight the accomplishment of Port boy's soccer very own, Peter Metz, joining the PWHS Athletic Hall of Fame this fall.

Peter was a cornerstone of the teams in the early 1990s and went on to do, and continues to do great things in the soccer world. You can also find him attending every alumni game back at Port High.

Peter joins another Athletic Hall of Fame member, Shirli Flack, with numerous contributions to the high school soccer program!

This past Saturday, we had the absolute honor of inducting five incredible new members into our Athletic Hall of Fame. Each of these outstanding individuals has left a lasting mark on our athletic program, and it was a privilege to recognize their achievements and legacy.

Throughout the evening, a common theme emerged: gratitude. Every inductee credited their success to the coaches, teammates, family, and friends who challenged, encouraged, and inspired them to be their best every day.

And one thing was crystal clear — their Pirate Pride runs deep. Each one expressed how proud they are to be a Pirate, and how much it meant to be part of our community both then and now.

Help us celebrate these phenomenal individuals who represent the heart, hustle, and heritage of Pirate athletics!

Pirates go down in the regional final to Kettle Moraine Lutheran.

Conceding 3 set piece goals in the first half proved too much to overcome in a do or die playoff game.

Although we did not meet our goals for the playoffs this year, some day soon we can look back at this season as a success.

This senior class was a special group and deserves all the credit in moving this program in the right direction.
