Tours are led by students and staff and are a chance to explore buildings and see classrooms, ask questions and view the current proposal for improvements. Tours start with a presentation in the Gael Stuart Building where the District offices are (across the street from the main HS campus on Benton St.)

The JeffCo Fair is here this weekend!
Stop by the PTHS Alumni Association Booth for some fun, nostalgia, and great prizes. We’ve got fantastic raffle baskets you won’t want to miss. Browse our collection of photos spanning decades of PTHS history. Check out what we have for sale this year, including new alumni shirt designs that can be ordered. You can also pick up Hall of Fame nomination forms and dues forms right at the booth.

We love reconnecting with fellow alumni and meeting new friends—so come say hi!

PT Camas Prairie Golf Park presents The Port Townsend Alumni Golf Classic (A fundraising event for the PT Alumni Association Scholarship Fund) Saturday, June 14, 2025, Shotgun start at 10:00 a.m.

18-hole Competition: 4-person Scramble*, limited to 18 teams, 72 players
LP, KP and 1st Eagle Prizes
Mulligans available - $20 for 5
Entry fee is $60 per person.

All are welcome! Put together a group of alumni or non-alumni; or
just register as a single, twosome, or th*****me and we will put you in a group. Scrambles are fun events. Stop by the Camas Prairie Pro Shop to sign up or phone: Rita Beebe @ 360-531-3042. Book early if you want a cart.

The Hall of Fame committee of the PTHS Alumni Association is proud to announce our inaugural PTHS 2025 Hall of Fame Class! It is a proud moment, as this has been in the works for nearly two years. We have planned a ceremony and celebration for Saturday, April 12, at 1 p.m. at Port Townsend High School. Everyone is welcome to attend.

We will also be having a re-dedication of the gym, as Bruce Blevins name will be put prominently on that building very soon. This has been a long time coming, but it is happening!

A huge thank you to my committee members: Tim Caldwell, Megan Jacobsen, Molly Greenspane Dunbar, Jim Guthrie, Howard Gauthier, Mark McCready and Rafe Thornton.
You will be hearing more about the HOF as we prepare for the next round of nominations later in the year.

This program is in partnership with the Port Townsend School District, and I thank them for all their support.

I received this Open House Invitation from the Port Townsend Schools Superintendent, Dr. Linda Rosenbury, and she wanted me to share the invite with you all. See below.

This fall, the school district has begun a formal process to evaluate the buildings and facilities at Port Townsend High School and OCEAN School with an eye towards improving campus safety, accessibility and the student educational experience. You are invited to come tour PT High School and learn about all the great programs offered and what kinds of facility and safety updates are needed.

Port Townsend High School Campus Tours
Nov. 20th 5:30-6:30 pm

Tours will be led by high school teachers, staff and students and TCF Architecture will be on hand to present the results of their campus assessment and audit. All ages are welcome, soup and salad will be served. Hope to see you there!
Last year, the school board assembled a group of community members, staff, and a student to gather facts, share information and gauge public response about the vacant school on the high school campus. After reviewing the information from the study group, the Board unanimously recommended that the Lincoln Building be retired with memorialization. This allows the Long-Range Planning Facilities Committee to use that space in their planning for campus renewal.
If you can't attend next week, there will be more opportunities to engage. We've assembled Design Advisory Committees who will be working with the architects this year to develop concepts. We look forward to sharing them with the community this spring.

Are you coming to the PTHS Alumni Banquet? Here is the scoop on our after-dinner music.

You are invited to join us for the live music following the annual PTHS Alumni Banquet at the Elks on Saturday, June 8th. We have The Randall Wolf Band from 8 – 11 p.m. If you purchase a dinner ticket for the banquet, the music admission is included in your ticket price. If you don’t buy a dinner ticket, admission is $10 for the music.

The Randall Wolf Band is Northwest Grown with a Southern Twist. Since its inception in 2022, The Randall Wolf Band has been providing evenings full of boogie at venues around the Olympic Peninsula, including a sold-out show at Field Arts & Events Hall, The New Moon Craft Tavern, Highway Twenty Roadhouse, Sirens, Extreme Sports Park, In Bloom Lavender Farm, Club Seven at 7 Cedars Casino, Anchor, Port Townsend Brewing Company, Private Parties, Corporate Events, and festivals like Beer Fest, Fall Fest, Crab Fest, and Lavender Festival.

Attached is the PTHS Alumni Dues and Dinner order form for your convenience. Dinner orders must be received by Monday, June 3, for our caterer. We hope you will plan to join us. It should be a fabulous time!

THIS IS A POST FROM VERN ROSBACH:
Okay, classmates from 1974: It's about time that we get together to swap stories and tell a few lies about what is commonly considered the first 50 years of adulthood. (I know, really?)

On Friday, June 7, we will gather at the Highway Twenty Roadhouse at about 5 p.m. The Roadhouse serves meals until 7 p.m. (We will provide some appetizers.) It would be appreciated if you could let us know if you (and any guests) plan to attend. Please let me, Robbin Monroe, Carolee Jackson or Doug Lockhart know. There will be a band playing from 7 to 10 p.m., with what I have been promised will be some good 70's music. Let's see how many of us can hold up until 10:00!

Please bear with me; there is more: On Saturday, June 8, the Port Townsend High School Alumni Association puts on the annual banquet at the Elks Club. Yep, two nights in a row out on the town. I'll bet it's been awhile since most of you have done that.

Cocktail hour(s) 4-6 p.m. Dinner starts at 6:30 p.m. If you plan to have dinner, there is a dues/dinner order form below (and yes, some money is involved, too). It must be filled out and returned on or before June 3. If you are unable to print out the form, feel free to contact me with your mailing address, and I will see that you get one.

After dinner, there will be music and dancing that I assume will go until about 11. C'mon you old-timers, we can do this, just may require an afternoon nap.

I know that not everyone in our class is connected on Facebook, so please pass this information along to anyone in our class that you have contact with. I really look forward to seeing as many of you as can possibly attend.

This is the weekend of the Jefferson County Fair in Port Townsend. Gates open at 10 am today (Friday, Aug. 11). Please stop by the PTHS Alumni booth as we our beautiful photo displays up and also have 10 raffles for some lucky winners! Modeling this bicycle they donated for the raffle are Joanne (Gibson) and Greg Gilles.

Stop by to see our booth and say hi! We are in the old commercial building, in a double booth at the far end.
