Hats off to our four graduates! 🎉
We are incredibly proud of these amazing humans and all they have accomplished during their time at Swan. While their chapter at Swan is coming to an end, their story is just beginning. We can’t wait to see where their next adventures take them.
May their individuality, kindness, creativity, and wonderful sense of humor continue to shine wherever they go.
Watch out, world- here they come! ❤️

Students excitedly watched as bark chips were delivered and spread for our school’s community garden! A big thanks to Jefferson County’s Master Gardeners for the garden support!

We are very proud to introduce this completed community resource! This map connects the Little Food Pantry network with Jefferson Transit bus routes, making it easier for community members to access and support the pantries.
Throughout the school year, students mapped out each of their routes to open, stock, and maintain the pantries using our public transportation system. After months of traveling with this group of Kindergarten and 1st graders, Jefferson Transit invited them to collaborate as “experts.” Students shared their routing process and helped create this map, working together to connect community members to the pantries through our free and accessible transit system.
We are grateful for the incredible drivers and staff at Jefferson Transit who helped make this project possible. We are excited to share this map with our community- please help us spread the word!

In Art this week, students explored color theory by mixing primary colors to achieve the full color spectrum. Science and magic merged as we experimented and joyously created these rainbow bookmarks!
What is more beautiful than all the colors of the rainbow? A community that celebrates them all. Happy Pride! 🌈

This map shows all of the Little Food Pantries located throughout Port Townsend. The kindergarten/1st grade class spent the school year working on this community project. As part of their efforts, they installed 11 pantries across town and created this map to help community members easily locate and access these resources.

The students designed this project with the goal of increasing food accessibility and strengthening community connections. We hope this map serves as a valuable resource for anyone looking to donate to or receive food from a Little Food Pantry.

Coming soon is a second map created in partnership with Jefferson Transit. This map will connect all local bus routes to the Little Food Pantry locations, making it even easier for community members to access these resources using public transportation.

Please share!

Bring what you can, take what you need. 💚
