Magic wand making! Nature art! Feasting on abundance!! Fun with friends!!!

Wrapping up our early fall session this week! It has been a joy to offer kids crafts out in the community at the farm tour, departure fest, and the apple fest at Finn River. We have been feasting on applesauce, fruit leather, blackberries! The art that we have made from the natural berries inks we made is gorgeous! More pictures to come.

September/October Beans for Bags Spotlight: Heartberries

Learn about this all-outdoors program for children ages 2-5 based at Peace Hill and Shy Acre Farm in Port Townsend, WA. Keep bringing your re-usable bags and consider donating your bean to this newer organization. 🍓❤️

Heartberries Preschool will be offering nature craft activities and a cozy space for young ones of all ages to retreat from the bustle of the festival. Visit their booth for snacks, drinks, and low-key arts and games for kids from 1-5pm both Friday and Saturday. Donations to cover the cost of materials are appreciated, but not required. 🍓

Come join us!!! We will be at Shy Acre Farm again today!! Enjoying the sunshine with an incredible group of culturally diverse farmers, artists and forward thinkers. Fundraising for our outdoor preschool Heartberries. Offering wand making, lavender bundle making, natural dyeing, and other natural crafting. As well as fruit leather made from fruit harvested from Shy Acre Farm. Happy late summer!!!
