Who is Wil Pujols the creator behind Pujols baseball?
Wilfrido “Wil” Pujols 🇩🇴⚾️
Born in Santo Domingo, DR, Wil moved to the U.S. at age 3 and grew up in Independence, Missouri. The first cousin of , Wil fell in love with baseball early and trained alongside elite talent in both the U.S. and the Dominican Republic.
A standout at Fort Osage High School, Wil was known for his elite arm strength—throwing 95 mph from the outfield at just 16 years old. In 2005, he was drafted in the 6th round by the St. Louis Cardinals.
Though injuries shortened his playing career, Wil gained invaluable knowledge from Albert Pujols and the organization. He began coaching in 2007 and in 2015 founded Pujols Hit School—now known as Pujols Baseball—focused on preparation, fundamentals, and a professional mindset.

The captain put on a clinic today, teaching something he learned in the organization: High tee on field. This drill will show you how far you are hitting the ball (with your strength) and how much backspin you are getting on the baseball.

This weekend 29-30th, high school players from Port Saint Lucie, Ft. Pierce, Stuart, Hobe Sound and all of the Treasure Coast will have the opportunity to work with former St. Louis Cardinals MLB Draft Pick, Wil Pujols at the Player Development Camp.
