Little Friends Preschool is now hiring Teachers and Teacher’s Aids for the 2025 - 2026 school year. Education Requirements:

Teacher -
1. Staff Credential (CDA) or Bachelor’s Degree with 15 hours in early childhood education.
2. Part 1 and 2 of Child Care Facility training (40hrs).
3. Early Literacy 5 hour training.

Teacher’s Aid -
1. Part 1 and 2 of Child Care Facility training (40hrs).
2. Early Literacy 5 hour training.

Teacher’s Aids are required to complete all of the training hours within the first 90 days of employment (if not completed prior to employmentnt).

Little Friends Preschool will be CLOSED tomorrow, Friday, Oct. 11th, due to the aftermath of Hurricane Milton.

We will resume school on Monday, Oct. 14, at our regularly scheduled time.

Hi Parents!

It’s almost time to start preschool! 🎉🎉 We know many of you are eagerly awaiting your child’s class assignment and all the back to school information. Keep an eye on your mailbox for your welcome packet this week, in addition to a phone call from your child’s teacher.

Office hours will be shorter this week as we prepare for the new school year. Tuesday - Friday we will be available 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (We are closed Monday for carpet cleaning).

We’re looking forward to a great school year with you and your children!

We are SO excited to announce the completion of our new playground! Our grand opening celebration with students will be this Thursday! 🎉🎉🎉

Parents, thank you for your patience through this process. We truly have the best parents and students in town. You all have been amazing! 🙌🏽😃

New Playground Alert!!!! Today’s the big day…out with the old and in with new! We’re thankful that God has enabled us to get a brand new playground. We can’t wait to see it put to good use!

We have had so many visitors these past 2 weeks while we learned all about community helpers. We had the utility department for come out and teach us all about how water works, public works that taught us all about roads and how cities are designed, PSLPD CSI team showed us all of the different tools that they used to help police officers in their investigations, as well as seeing their special crime scene unit vehicle and lastly we had a special visit from dusty the dragon and the firefighters and fire truck from station 5. Thank you to all of our community helpers for donating your time.
