May is Mental Health Awareness Month!
Everyone from time to time struggles with their mental health but we are often SO hesitant to speak to anyone about these struggles. Maybe it’s the fear of being judged, or having your struggles be dismissed by the person you trusted to share them with.
Let’s use this month to bring awareness to mental health and help to end the stigma surrounding it!
Comment with your ideas on how we can begin to fight the stigma around mental health.

Today, the Keiser University Psychology Club had the opportunity to go visit the Hope Center for Autism-charter school. Here we had the chance to observe classrooms of different grade levels and see how their curriculum is guided by the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
Their goal is to provide students with the (social and educational) skills needed to transition to a less restrictive classroom setting

We had so much fun doing the Art-based stress management activities with the high schoolers who visited Keiser University’s Port Saint Lucie campus today!
The students were so open and receptive to all of the different activities and fully immersed themselves in the fun! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
