My piano student, Juliet, took one of my photographs of the penguins from Antarctica and transformed it into this absolutely beautiful painting —
and I’m truly so very blown away.

To see a moment I captured in one of the most remote places on Earth reimagined through her eyes, her talent, and her creativity… it’s incredibly special.

The softness, the detail, the emotion she captured in this little penguin — it’s not just a painting, it’s a connection.

Juliet, I am so proud of you! Your talent is undeniable, but your heart and dedication shine even more. Thank you for this priceless gift that is now hanging next to my piano for all to enjoy;)

This is why I teach. This is why I create.

Watching students take inspiration and turn it into something uniquely their own… there is truly nothing more rewarding. ✨
