This post is for my male family members, friends, and acquaintances who value the women in their lives: mothers, daughters, granddaughters, sisters, wives, cousins, grandmothers and friends. Regardless of your political affiliation or whether or not you like Michelle Obama, if you care enough to want to understand our collective female experience when it comes to the stages of our health and the risk of not having full healthcare rights please watch this speech. I have never heard it explained any better than this. You can even fast forward to 22 minutes if you don't care to listen to the rest.

To my female friends: please forward this to your male friends and family members regardless of who they plan on voting for. Men have no idea of our physical challenges and risks, and we are not always so great about helping them to understand.

Dear Friends and Family,

I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the overwhelming support and love you've shown me during my Cancer journey. Your contributions to the GoFundMe have not only provided me with essential resources but have also uplifted my spirits in ways words can barely capture.

Each day comes with its own set of hurdles, but your kindness and generosity make these challenges more bearable. Each call, message, prayer and donation has given me strength and has reminded me that I am loved and am not alone on this journey toward health. Know that this love is deeply reciprocated. It’s the kind of love that keeps me going, that brightens the darkest days, and that makes me hopeful for a great future.
