🚒🔥 BIG smiles, little firefighters, and a whole lot of fun!

Our Wardle Family YMCA Preschoolers took their learning beyond the classroom with a special field trip to the Port Royal Fire Department! ❤️

From climbing aboard the fire trucks and trying on firefighter helmets to getting an up-close look at the equipment our local heroes use every day, our little explorers had an unforgettable experience! They also learned about fire safety, the important role firefighters play in keeping our community safe, and what it means to be a community helper. 🚒👨‍🚒

At the Wardle Family YMCA Preschool, we believe some of the best learning happens through real-world experiences. Field trips like this spark curiosity, build confidence, teach valuable life lessons, and help our preschoolers discover the amazing community around them. 💙

A HUGE thank you to the City of Beaufort/Town of Port Royal Fire Department for welcoming our preschoolers, sharing important fire safety lessons, and making their day so special! 🚒👏

🌟 Want your little one to be part of the fun?

We still have openings at the Wardle Family YMCA Preschool, and we're excited to now offer BOTH FULL-DAY AND HALF-DAY OPTIONS! More flexibility for families, with the same nurturing environment, hands-on learning, and meaningful experiences that make our preschool special.
