Shared by another Nanny today. Sounds familiar. Children's mom comes to help bring kids into house from your car and snarks about how much stuff is in the car and I triumphantly pull out all 12 bags which belong to her children and explain “given that they have activities scheduled back to back to back- we travel with diaper bag, packed lunches, extra water thermoses, karate gear, baseball gear, ice skating gear, library books to return, stroller, extra booster seat since I gave the older one to his aunt today at your request, swim bag for baby, and toy bags for each kid to stay happy on long drives. So yes, you’re right, I do have a ton of stuff in the car- but now that my shift is over it’s completely clear again aside from their carseats. Thanks for understanding how much I care about the kids to keep their days running smoothly despite the clutter.

I carry crazy stuff in my car too.

I always used to share this knowledge when I taught birth classes. Babies don't need artificial ni**le feeding when they are just getting over some hump like mama has surgery or baby is having trouble with latch just at the beginning... This is instinct.
