YMCA Camp Lake Helena Camp Lake Helena is a camping branch of YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties located in Port Orchard.

YMCA Camp Lake Helena offers a vibrant day camp where kids explore nature, build confidence, and stay active with swimming, canoeing, archery, hiking, gaga ball, crafts, and outdoor adventure. Located on a 135‑acre forested property with a 5‑acre lake in Port Orchard, this camp provides a safe, supportive environment led by positive mentors. Campers make friends, unplug, and discover new interests through hands-on skill-building and memorable outdoor play.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Family Mushroom Hike last week! We had a fantastic time exploring the trails, learning about local fungi, and discovering the hidden wonders of the forest. 🍄‍🟫🪾🍂
