Every year since our 40th anniversary "Back to the Nest" we have continued to select Hawks, Friends and Alumni who have made a community impact wherever they are.

This year, Nominations were taken through the month of September for the SCHS Three Distinguished Hawks Awards established in 2015. The winners for our 2018-2019 school year include: Distinguished Faculty Member- Mr. Danny Crile; Distinguished Volunteer/Supporter- Mrs. Liz Paschal; Distinguished Hawk Alumni--Kathleen Seller Hughes from the class of 1996, who has a Ph.D and currently works at Columbus University as the Director of the Competitive Premedical Studies Program, and Erin Grubbs Martin, who is from the class of 1995 and is the fundraising chair at St. Jude’s Hospital. Our winners were honored Friday October 19 at the Homecoming pre-show which we held at our own football stadium. CONGRATULATIONS to our four soaring Hawks!

This past weekend at the SCHS Homecoming game, we honored 3 people with our 2017 Distinguished Hawks awards. Thank you to everyone who nominated someone for this wonderful honor.
**Congrats to Alumni Tony Tucci (c/o '89) for receiving the Distinguished Hawk Supporter Award.
**Congrats to Lloyd Davis (c/o '77) for receiving the Distinguished Alumnus Award
**Congrats to Mary Frances Aumiller for receiving the Distinguished Faculty Award

SCHS is so honored to recognize these individuals for their amazing work in the community and with our school!

Creek gets a pick 6 to take the lead 20-17, but it is called back due to a mistakenly blown whistle by a referee. Then ultimately Creek loses 17-14 to FPC for their first loss of the year. Great game Hawks!
