Home Sweet Home! Thank you for sharing the world with your kids. They were amazing to travel with. 7 countries (8 if you count our layover in Canada) in two weeks is not for the faint of heart, but it was definitely an epic adventure! Be prepared for them to sleep for days 😂

Today was our last adventure before heading home tomorrow! We visited Windsor (where we were able to see the changing of the guard), took a guided tour of London, and enjoyed a hot, but memorable performance at The Globe Theater. We are all exhausted and ready for the comforts of home, but are feeling a little sad to see our adventure come to an end. These students have been a joy to travel with. Hoping for a smooth trip home!

We left France this morning and took the train to London! We had an amazing afternoon exploring. Each group chose something a little different to check out. After dinner we took a very entertaining Jack the Ripper tour. It was another long, but amazing day!

Paris Day 2 included a hop on and off bus tour around Paris, a guided tour of Versailles, and a little more time to explore by foot before dinner. Today was our last day in France and we made the most of it!

We are in Paris! Today we explored the area around the Notre Dame Cathedral and then took a river boat cruise down the Seine. The cruise started out beautifully, but then a storm rolled in and we were soaked! It was worth it though because we saw the Eiffel Tower sparkle in the rain!

We said goodbye to Switzerland and headed to France today. We spent the afternoon exploring Dijon, a charming French town where the mustard was invented. Unfortunately the museums are all closed on Tuesdays, but we could still follow the city trail around to the historic buildings, go into the churches, and do some shopping. We are off to Paris tomorrow!

Part 2 Lucerne
Our adventures today included going to the top of Mt Pilatus at close to 7000 feet elevation. We took 2 different gondolas to the top and rode the world’s steepest cogwheel railway down. At the bottom of the mountain we took a boat ride on Lake Lucerne before spending a few hours exploring the city, indulging in Swiss chocolate and treats, and shopping. Then we headed back to our hotel for dinner and another swim in the pond. We all really love this hotel. There is no air conditioning, but it isn’t needed with the refreshing mountain air. We will be sad to leave Switzerland in the morning, but it is time to move on to France!
