Why is maintaining a proper cervical curve important? (~42 degrees)
On average, subjects with an ARA of less than 20 degrees are 2x more likely to have cervicogenic pain.
Worse yet, patients with an ARA of 0 degrees or less are 18x (yes, Eighteen!) times more likely to have cervicogenic pain. Come to club to learn how to restore the curve for these poor people.
If you don't know or don't remember what ARA means, check out our powerpoint from our last meeting. Our next meeting will be this Friday at 9:30 in rm 2223, and we promise it will be much more hands-on. Thanks
