Reflections!!!!! Due Tuesday 13th- drop off items that are not digital to school at drop off or pick up -we will be onsite to take them for displaying for judges the next week- EVERY student is wanted for submissions! This goes National! Top three from k-2 and top three from 3-5, for EACH category, will be chosen to go to the next round! Our judges (not affiliated with the school) will be coming the week after next, so we want to help display correctly in our PTA room school to help everyone get great photos and to help! !!!

🐯 PTA MYTHS VS. FACTS

MYTH #1: “You have to attend every PTA meeting to be a member.”
✨ FACT: Not at all! Your membership supports POE even if you can’t make every meeting.

MYTH #2: “PTA is only for parents who have lots of free time.”
✨ FACT: Every bit of involvement helps! Volunteer for one event, donate supplies, share an idea, or simply become a member.

MYTH #3: “PTA money only pays for parties.”
✨ FACT: PTA funds help support meaningful experiences and resources for our students, teachers, and school community.

MYTH #4: “PTA is just fundraising.”
✨ FACT: PTA is about advocacy, family engagement, volunteering, student enrichment, teacher support, and building a stronger school community.

MYTH #5: “I don’t have kids at the school, so I can’t join.”
✨ FACT: Families, grandparents, community members, teachers, and supporters can all help strengthen our school community.

MYTH #6: “One person can’t make a difference.”
✨ FACT: 🐯 Every Tiger matters! One volunteer, one membership, one idea, or one donation can make a difference.

🧡 OUR FAVORITE PTA FACT:

PTA works best when we work together.
You don’t have to do everything—you just have to do something.
Together, we make a difference! 🐯🍂
