Teekam Lohano, MD is a Board Certified Pediatrician in the Mid County area. Dr. Lohano sees children from NewBorn to 21 years of age. Dr. Lohano assesses Newborn patients at The Medical Center of South East Texas - Steward with the best quality of care. We work with The Medical Center of South East Texas - Steward to assure our patients are admitted as needed and taken care of with the utmost care. We accept all Medicaid and Private Insurance at Mid County Pediatrics.

Our adorable office pup, Kovu, is getting into the Halloween spirit at Mid-County Pediatrics! 🐶💜💚

He may be small, but he has a BIG personality—and he absolutely loves all the attention and love he gets from our patients and families! 🥰

🧡 Kovu’s Halloween tip: A little extra love, a few treats (with Mom’s permission!), and lots of cuddles make Halloween even better!

There’s a new little face around Mid-County Pediatrics , and he may just be our cutest team member yet! 🐶
Meet Kovu, our sweet Pomeranian office pup! 🐾 Kovu is gentle, friendly, and absolutely LOVES attention. If you see him around the office, don’t be surprised if he comes looking for a few pets, cuddles, and a little extra love. ❤️
We know coming to the pediatrician can sometimes make our little patients nervous, and Kovu is always happy to provide a wagging tail, a fluffy cuddle, and a reason to smile. 🥰
So next time you visit, Mid-County Pediatrics keep an eye out for Kovu—and feel free to say hello! He takes his job as Chief Cuddle Officer very seriously. 🐾😂

💙 A quick note for our families: If your child has a dog allergy, is afraid of dogs, or you simply prefer not to have contact with Kovu, please let our staff know. We’ll be happy to keep him away during your visit.

We hope all of our MCP families made it safely through the tropical storm. 🫶🏼

We are open and seeing patients today, but please use your best judgment when getting out in this weather. Your safety and your little one’s safety comes first!

If your child is scheduled for a routine well check and you would rather stay home, that is completely okay! Just give us a call/message and we can get you rescheduled for another day. 🩺

Please stay safe, be careful on the roads, avoid any flooded areas, and take care of yourselves. 💙
