HJM Elementary HJM Students, Staff, and Parents will work hand-in-hand to be the best that we can be!

Port Lavaca, Texas, is the home to HJM Elementary School, located on the Gulf Coast between Houston and Corpus Christi. Our goal is to prepare children to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing world and develop responsible, concerned, contributing members of society by providing a student-centered environment which promotes lifelong skills.

Mrs. Stancik and Mrs. Kendrick’s students put their STEM skills to the test by working together to build the tallest free-standing tower using only spaghetti noodles, marshmallows, and tape! 🏗️

There was lots of planning, problem-solving, teamwork, testing, and rebuilding along the way. We loved watching our students think creatively, encourage one another, and rise to the challenge! 💡🤝
