Candy Cane Pre-School

Today we had some very special visitors from Orange County Emergency Communications. The 911 Dispatchers taught the students when and how to call 911.and we got a tour of the 911 Van! Thank you Brad Dain and your coworkers for visiting with us!
PS, DO NOT call 911 if your ice cream falls on the ground! Lesson learned! 😁

We had some special visitors at Candy Cane today!! EMT Matt and EMT Jenn came to teach our students what they do! Mrs. Addy’s stuffed hedgehog was assessed and had a broken arm, broken leg and slight head injury but our EMT’s fixed him right up! We even got to check out the ambulance!! It was a super fun day!

We were so excited to have Sam from This Chapter Book Store as our Mystery Reader today. She read a book by a local author about Kindness and left it and another book to add to our library at Candy Cane. And she also brought buttons and stickers too! It was a GREAT Friday!!!

We had a wonderful celebration in class on Wednesday and planted beautiful flowers 💐

Happy Earth Day!! Today we learned how to Recycle, Reuse and Reduce. The Candy Cane Kids are kind to the Earth!

Today was a big day for the Candy Cane Kids! Our “Pretend” Chicks hatched AND laid some Jelly Bean Eggs! They were SO excited!!
Now for a little Spring Break!
