As a professional in this field of Music, Performance, teaching and modeling for over 25 years, I have brought all that experience into my studio for my students. Through my performance, auditioning and industry background, I have gained insight into how to prepare for a great audition, strategic monologue preparation, and strong vocal technique which will raise you above the rest. Our private 55
minute lessons are structured towards your specific need/want. We work on vocal technique, music theory, song selection, vocal warm ups to increase your range and acting techniques. We work on monologue selection, cold reading, industry information and audition prep. All classes are geared towards the individual student and their expectations and wanted outcome. From students who wanted to learn songs, work on their self confidence, learn to publicly speak, as well as college auditions, NYSSMA and professional audition prep. Through these private classes, I am able to understand the student and work their specific talent and needs. No matter what age in school, students need to learn to have the confidence to speak publicly, to advocate for themselves and present well. Not every student will become a professional singer...but they will learn to embrace what they are good at, learn how to have confidence in front of an audience and enjoy the learning process. I am a New York Certified teacher working in the area. I am Certified in Music, Elementary Education, Secondary Education (Middle and High School) as well as Students with Disabilities (birth through 12th grade). I have been teaching my private studio in New York City for the past 18 years. I have worked with many dance studios as both their vocal instructor and ran my own Glee classes in where I choreographed and taught vocals for a full performance of singing and dancing.
