The NBEA is thrilled to celebrate the success of another impactful annual conference! This year’s 51st Annual Conference, held at the beautiful Ethan Allen Hotel in Danbury, CT, brought together a vibrant community of scholars and professionals. Over the course of three days, we hosted 29 breakout sessions, 118 paper presentations, two insightful panels, and two hands-on workshops. It was an inspiring gathering of minds where members shared invaluable research, built connections, and fostered lasting friendships.

This year, we were honored to have Farooq Kathwari, President and CEO of Ethan Allen Interiors, as our keynote speaker, who inspired us all with his leadership and insights. Thank you to all our attendees for your energy, expertise, and commitment to advancing knowledge in business and economics.

The NBEA Board of Directors got together to review paper submissions for the upcoming 51st NBEA Annual Conference, set to take place from October 31 to November 2, 2024, at the beautiful . We had the pleasure of meeting this year's Keynote Speaker, Mr. Farooq Kathwari, Chairman, CEO, and President of Ethan Allen Interiors. This is the Tropicana Atlantic City complex. The board stayed in the Havana tower on the right for the initial paper review. South tower is on left. Casino, theater, restaurants, and shops are in the middle. The NBEA Conference will be held in the Havana Tower in November. The casino was absolutely jammed this weekend but it is beach season and wasn't really a beach day. An Eagles tribute band plays the Saturday night of the conference. Please join us in Atlantic City. Paper submissions accepted until August 10.
