Unity For Youth!

Restoration Christian Community Church (RC3) Youth Ministry has a deep abiding faith in the power of unity. For this reason we launched the Unity for Youth campaign in 2013. By tearing down walls of separation (denominations, race, age, gender, political affiliation, economic status, etc.) we can unify our diverse opinions into innovative solutions that restore and enhance the spiritual, social, a

nd economic systems of every local, state and national community in the world. Youth and young adults are closely studying the responses of adults to the pressing issues of today. The lessons students learn today will inspire the solutions they implement tomorrow. Our youth are present day leaders in training helping to develop the world of tomorrow. It is the job of adults to cultivate and nurture young people into intelligent, well developed grown-ups. While the RC3 Youth Ministry has taken the initial steps in stirring up the collaborative spirit of the Port Huron Area community through this campaign, we understand it will take the participation of a variety of leaders to create a community conducive to youth development. Unity for Youth partners will be committed to creating an environment where youth and young adults thrive and succeed. Port Huron has a number of churches, organizations, and businesses committed to the development of youth. Some progress has been made to improve collaboration between organizations that serve young people, however there are definitely additional partnership opportunities to exploit. The mission of the Unity for Youth campaign is to create a unified community of support that will address the needs of youth nurturing them into intelligent well developed adults.

Young adults, this is your moment. You are the leaders now, and people are looking to you. Being brave means using your power for love, stepping up when you see injustice, and saying 'I will do it' when no one else will.

When life gets tough and negativity creeps in, that's your moment to rise above. Stay positive, stay calm, and stay neutral. Speak good things into existence and radiate positive energy to receive it back. Trust that your path is ordered and stay strong in your faith.

The most important way to be brave is to be brave for yourself first. Care for your body, mind, and soul. When you're healthy internally, you can then effectively serve and help others in your community. True leadership begins with self-care.

When the world feels overwhelming, don't fear. True freedom comes from intimacy with the Lord. Seek spiritual guidance, persevere through challenges, and let God reveal solutions. Make Him your safe place and allow His presence to transform you.

I remember the daze after walking out, feeling glassed over, like a zombie. Today, I see that look in so many eyes. It's a sign of uncertainty about tomorrow. But if you keep pushing and believe in yourself, you can overcome it. Trust your heart.

In a world filled with challenges, it's easy to feel fear, worry, and doubt. But remember, God is our protector, provider, and strength. Turn to Him when the world gets crazy; He is our source of hope.

Life throws unexpected challenges. When my father-in-law became unresponsive, I was able to perform CPR because I was prepared. While the outcome wasn't what we hoped for, there was peace in knowing I could act. Be ready when opportunity strikes.

Your soul is your mind, will, and emotions. Forgiveness means taking back your mind, refusing to be enslaved by past hurts. It's releasing anger to embrace joy and reclaiming your moral compass. Move beyond hatred with love.
