Southern Dreams has Partnered with Private Schools to offer a curriculum that is developed internally by an entire team of highly qualified and fully certified curriculum developers and professors. We've worked intensively with SACS, the Mississippi Department of Education, to develop a program of study that meets and exceeds the standards set by the U.S. Department of Education. We pair our curriculum with textbooks from Prentice Hall of Pearson Education, Inc. for all of our core classes. Our foreign language courses are paired with textbooks from Holt, Rinehart and Winston; A Harcourt Education Company. The school’s team is available year round to help you pick the courses that are right for you and your post-graduation goals.

Today was a great day for Southern Dreams, we were at the Jefferson County High School career fair. There were a great number of students who took the pledge to think before they reacted. The pledge is a mental health challenge that is geared to help youth, young adults and adults to make the right decisions in life. The challenge is part of the Think Frog 🐸 movement!!! Sponsored by Southern Dreams Educational Services.

Today, I am deeply saddened by the loss of a truly remarkable man, judge Alford Rhodes Jr. He was one of the first people to believe in me and give me a second chance at life when he appointed me as a Guardian ad Litem. He trusted me to be a voice for vulnerable children, and that opportunity changed my life forever. I am endlessly grateful for his faith in me, his mentorship, and his dedication to the community. Rest in peace, Judge. 🕊️

Our hearts are truly heavy as we remember Jaylon Walker, a beloved member of the Orion High School Class of 2025. His presence touched the Orion family, and he will be deeply missed.

We lift his loved ones in our thoughts and prayers, asking that God’s comfort and peace surround them during this difficult time. 🕊️
