We had such an overwhelming response when our testing center went live last night. Unfortunately, our testing center booked through November in a matter of minutes. I know that many of you are hoping to get a test date in Port Charlotte Florida. At this time, we hope to be allowed to open additional days, but will need your help. Today we honor another beloved SP. For many years Ms. Gloria assisted in preparing doctors for their Step 2 CS exam as the lovely Dolly Dagger and Jeanette Green. She touched the lives of all who knew her and will forever live on in our hearts. As a beautiful soul with the most angelic voice, she now sings amongst the angels. We love and miss you Gloria. Please continue to watch over us. 💜💜💜

Interactive Online Comprehensive Courses!!!

On Friday, a message was sent out by USMLE to inform doctors about upcoming changes that may be implemented in order to handle the current restrictions and social distancing. As a result of COVID-19, these plans have been accelerated and are focused on a testing solution that employs a telehealth model, where examinees and standardized patients would interact online, via a web browser. The USMLE program is aggressively assessing this solution, which will require significant redesign of the exam's content and delivery. Telehealth is a method that Ximedus has used over the past 10 years in our teaching, and has continuously been a method included in our CS services. Ximedus is in the process of converting our Live Onsite Courses into an Interactive Comprehensive Online Course in which we will still offer a 3 Day, 4 Day ICE, 5 Day, and 5 Day SEP to accommodate for these new changes. The changes will be posted to our website as of May 18, 2020. We are encouraging our students to choose a date to attend our Online Course to continue in their preparation, and address the changes being made to Step 2 CS. The quality of our course has and will not change, and we will continue to offer excellent service to all of our students. I know that all of these changes to the exam may cause you to panic, but I assure you that we will be here for you every step of the way, and will make sure that you have all of the tools needed to pass your exam.

Ximedus will resume scheduled workshops beginning on May 8, 2020.

We understand that this is a terrifying time for all of us. We also understand the need to move forward safely. So the question that everyone needs to have answered is:

"What are we doing to protect you in this environment?

For the last month, we have deep cleaned our entire facility, and took the following measures:

Disinfected and painted the whole center including the walls and floors
Installed Medical Grade Air Purifiers the ones that were used to control MERV and SARS
Equipped all the personnel of Ximedus with an approved medical mask that will protect them against COVID-19
Ask the staff to isolate themselves and do a daily health checklist and multiple temperature checks daily and submit that to the office
We have put procedures in place to screen attendees from airport transport with a mask, hand sanitizer, and temperature checks
All workshop attendees will receive protective equipment for personal use during their time at Ximedus

We know that these are precautions that will be necessary for us to continue our mission of helping students and physicians to prepare for their USMLE Step 2 CS Examination, we are most concerned about yours and our safety and preserving life.

This period has been such a tragic time for both yourselves and the world. We understand how frustrated and uncertain you are about your timelines and deadlines involving your career decisions.
