Here's is the wishlist for our classroom. These items are for various purposes; flexible seating, student rewards and incentives, classroom management, and organization or displays of curriculum materials. Many of the items on the list will benefit students for many years to come and a few will only be used once because students will keep them or they are not reusable. You can search the list by high and highest priority to help choose. Make sure to include a note so I know who to thank.

It's disability pride month. Take a look at my new cover photo. It's the flag for disability pride.

And no... disability pride will not make you catch a disability if you do not already have a disability..

In order of appearance from top to bottom:

Green is for sensory disabilities
Blue represents emotional and psychiatric disabilities
White stands for non-visible and undiagnosed disabilities
Gold is for neurodiversity
Red represents physical disabilities.

There are many people in my life, including myself, who have a disability. Educate yourself and learn acceptance to include the proper language to use about disabilities.
