Mrs. Robinson’s 5th graders got a little corny today with our Dancing Corn Lab!

Students practiced the scientific method by making predictions, identifying variables, observing, collecting data, and drawing conclusions. They also created a solution and observed a chemical reaction in action. The reaction produced carbon dioxide gas bubbles that attached to the corn and carried it to the surface. When the bubbles popped, the corn sank back down and the “dance” started all over again.

Our kindergarteners have been learning about two important Elements of Art: Line & Color! 🌈

They explored how different types of lines can create movement, patterns, and interesting designs, then brought their ideas to life through painting and color. Watching their creativity come to life is the best part! 💕✨
