Courtesy reminder: The April ACT TIR sign up closes at midnight on 3/8.
Also, the CLT closed the remote window early again. The March 16 cut off was on 3/6. It closed over the weekend due to volume. April 6 is the next CLT remote.
Have a wonderful Day and please reach out if you have any questions.

The Classic Learning Test:

The next CLT is March 16 but we noticed that the sign up window closed early last month due to an influx of registering sudents so register for this test now if you plan on taking it next month.
The CLT reading comprehension section models the new digital SAT reading comprehension section, so if you are looking to gauge where your test taker stands in this brave new world of adaptive testing in reading then give the CLT an at-home try for $59.
Signing up for an at-home test offers students an “anytime” testing experience throughout the day. So if our modern high schoolers want to test at 5 pm they can!
The testing hours for the CLT are between 9am -9pm. The test must begin during that window.

Attention Current Juniors:
The Common Application opens August 1st so let’s get the tests scores we need now!

SAT News:
The SAT is currently in transition moving to the new digital adaptive test on March 9th.
If you are planning to take this test then you must download bluebook ASAP and decide if you are going to use the school’s device or bring your own (BYOD).
Remember that the new digital SAT assesses a different reading comprehension skill set than the paper/pencil SAT. Please be sure to schedule sessions leading up to this new assessment.
Ideally, biweekly sessions need to be scheduled for optimum performance on this new assessment.

ACT News:
The April ACT TIR is the most important college entrance assessment we take because colleges prefer high ACT scores over SAT performance; accelerated scores on this ACT indicate a wider scope of our students’ abilities.

CLT News:
Doc took the January CLT at home which is a nice feature of this new assessment that also generates Bright Futures and college acceptance. The next CLT is Feb. 15th and late sign ups run to the end of the day on Feb. 7th.

Classic Learning Test's (CLT) exams for Grades 3-12 measure aptitude and achievement and are better aligned to a traditional education.
