Our 2nd and 3rd Graders ended their time at Taft touring their new school and making the best memories at Urban Air and Pompano! Some 3rd Graders were brave enough to show us their talents on the last day! We had special recognitions for our students who had perfect attendance all year and recognized a few of our 3rd Graders who had outstanding behavior and academic achievement! It was a memorable last week of school! 💜✏️

It’s bittersweet on the eve of our very last day of school at Taft forever! We sure have enjoyed your children this week and photos of our end of year events will be posted in the near future. Please remember school dismisses at 1PM tomorrow! We will enjoy the last day for sure!

Our 2nd and 3rd Graders were able to visit and tour the brand new Groves Intermediate today! They will be making history as the FIRST group of 3rd and 4th Graders! We are excited about the learning opportunities in our new spaces!!!

2023…the final year of Taft! Stories, smiles, and laughter filled our halls tonight during our final walkthrough! Taft - a campus that has been impacting lives since 1965. It’s a place that hold a special place in so many hearts. Taft families, students, and staff both past and present we thank you for over a half a century of making a difference! 💜

We are asking everyone to wear purple TOMORROW! Our high school seniors will be coming to take a walk through Taft and we want to show our support! Senior parents are welcome. 💜

Also, as a reminder we are not having lunch visitors for the remainder of the year due to all of our events and schedule changes.

Also tomorrow, our campus will be open from 5:30-6:30 for any past and present Taft families who wants to take a final walk around!

We sure enjoyed celebrating Nurse Dupuis today! It was comical and fun showering her with SO many injuries and ailments! She is one of a kind amazing and does a great job caring for our tribe!

Treating and appreciating our teachers never gets old! A special thanks to Heritage Car Wash for supplying our teachers with a FREE car wash and Neches Credit Union for treating us as well this week! It’s been super busy as we try to wrap up the final year of Taft! 🍎
