In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Ms. Cormier’s class created a beautiful awareness wall in loving memory of Ms. Cormier’s grandmother, Emma Trainer. 💗

Through this special project, our students are learning about the importance of love, kindness, hope, and remembering those who hold a special place in our hearts.

We want to give a special shoutout to Boost Mobile for joining us back in August for our Meet the Teacher event at Travis Elementary! We appreciate your support and willingness to be part of our Titan community!

Now, why are we just posting these pictures in October? 🤦🏽‍♀️😂 Well, apparently Mrs. Crowell’s spam folder decided to keep them a secret! She just discovered them, and we couldn’t let the opportunity pass to show our appreciation!

📢 Resilience Training Permission Slips Coming Home Today

Parents, permission slips for Resilience Training will be sent home today with eligible students in grades 3–5.

Resilience Training is designed to help students build healthy skills for handling challenges, managing emotions, solving problems, coping with stress, and developing positive strategies they can use at school and in everyday life. ❤️🖤

Participation requires parent/guardian permission, so if your child receives a form, please review it, sign it, and return it to school as soon as possible.

The City of Port Arthur Parks and Recreation Department is celebrating the season with its 2026 Fall Festival. Get ready for an evening filled with music, food, games, fun and more!

🇺🇸 A special moment at Travis Elementary! ❤️🖤

For the first time since our new Travis Elementary building opened, our flagpole is officially working and functional! 🙌

A huge THANK YOU to Mr. Rayford and Mr. Bowden for heading up the charge to make this happen, and to the PAISD Maintenance Department for their hard work and assistance in getting everything up and running.

It may seem like a small thing, but seeing our flag flying proudly in front of Travis is a pretty special sight! 🇺🇸
