🧪🔬 Science in Action at Travis! 🔬🧪

Ms. Jopson’s students are putting their scientific thinking to work! 🧠✨ Students investigated and compared the unique masses, volumes, and relative densities of various liquid samples through hands-on exploration.

Experiences like these give our Titans the opportunity to observe, measure, compare, and draw conclusions while bringing science concepts to life! ❤️🖤

🍎📚 Titan Teachers Putting in the WORK! ❤️🖤

The school day may be over, but the learning doesn’t stop for our teachers! Check out Ms. Wofford and Mrs. English, our amazing 3rd Grade Math teachers, working after school to internalize their upcoming Bluebonnet Math lessons. ➕✖️➗

Lesson internalization takes time, collaboration, and intentional planning—and these two are making sure they are prepared to provide our Titans with strong, high-quality instruction! 💪🏽📖

Parent Access to Supplemental Supports (PASS)

Parent Access to Supplemental Supports (PASS)
provides eligible Grade 3 students who score Did Not
Meet Grade Level on the STAAR Reading Language
Arts assessment with access to a $400 tutoring
account that families can use for literacy tutoring
services.

Families will be able to select from approved
tutoring providers, including in-person tutors, virtual
tutors, and eligible TIA-designated teachers.

Families of eligible Grade 3 students will receive a
customized notification in the STAAR Family Portal [https://tx-familyportal.cambiumast.com/ #/] informing
them that their child qualifies for accelerated instruction
and PASS tutoring funds.

Families will be directed to
create an account at pass.tea.texas.gov to begin the
process.

To qualify for the PASS program, a student must
meet all of the criteria below:

The student is currently enrolled in a Texas public
school and

The student scored “did not meet grade level” in
reading on the 3rd grade state assessment.

June 16: STAAR Grades 3-8 results available to
families

Summer 2026: Parents go to the PASS portal and set

Fall 2026: PASS Application opens for eligible families,
eligibility is verified, funds are added to accounts, and
tutoring services begin
