As a new school year begins for so many, we send many prayers.
Praying over every child, teacher, and family stepping into a new school year.
For the little ones stepping into a classroom for the very first time, and for those returning with new teachers, new friends, new expectations, and new adventures ahead.
Lord, steady their little hearts when they feel nervous. Give them coursage to try new things, confidence to wonder and to ask questions, and to share kindness to those around them.
Bless every teacher that will pour into them each day. Give them patience, wisdom, creativity, and the ability to see beyond and into each and every child.
Protect our children.
Guide their steps.
Surround them with people who will encourage them,
believe in them,
and remind them that they are deeply loved.
And when the days feel hard, remind them that they are never walking alone.
