Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we begin the school year, we want to remind everyone of our drop-off and pick-up procedures, which are in place to ensure the safety of all students.
Morning Drop-Off:
• Students may not be dropped off before 7:30 AM. Staff supervision is not available prior to this time. Parents should drive down the pavement drive in front of the gym for drop-off. Students should remain in your vehicle until an adult opens the gym door to receive students at 7:30 AM.
Afternoon Pick-Up:
• Pick-up time is 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, and 3:30 PM on Fridays. Students are required to be picked up promptly.
• All vehicles must display their placard visibly in the front window when picking up students.
• All parents/guardians must use the designated pick-up line. Parents are not allowed to park on side streets for pickup. For the safety of students, no students may walk down the road or cross the street to enter a vehicle.
Walkers:
• The front office will notify students once they have been approved as walkers.
• Students who wish to walk home must have a completed and approved walker application on file and an approved walker sticker placed on their student ID.
• Students without the proper walker sticker will not be allowed to leave campus on foot.
These procedures are strictly enforced for the safety of all students. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a secure and orderly environment during arrival and dismissal times.

Dear Bob Hope Middle School Families,

I am excited to welcome you to the 2025–2026 school year! I hope your summer was filled with rest, laughter, and memorable moments. It is truly an honor to serve as the Campus Director for Bob Hope Middle School and to work alongside such an incredible community of students, families, and staff.

This year, our district theme is “Dancing to the Top.” This reminds us that success is not only about reaching the finish line but also about the passion, perseverance, and joy we experience along the way. At Bob Hope Middle School, we are committed to helping every Eagle soar—academically, socially, and emotionally—while ensuring that equity and inclusion remain at the heart of everything we do.

To our new families—welcome! We are so glad you are here. Bob Hope Middle School is a place where every student is valued and supported. Our teachers, staff, and educational partners are ready to guide your child on a journey of growth, learning, and self-discovery.

Our dedicated staff has been busy preparing for the year ahead—finalizing schedules, engaging in professional learning, and fine-tuning our instructional strategies and routines. Our goal is clear: to ensure every student masters essential skills, thinks critically, works collaboratively, and develops the confidence to take on challenges. This year, we will continue strengthening our academic programs, providing targeted interventions when needed, and creating a safe and connected school environment where all students belong.

Mark your calendars! Meet the teacher will be held on Friday , August 15th from 4:00-5:00PM. This is a great opportunity to tour the school, meet our amazing teachers, and learn about curriculum, extracurricular activities, and campus expectations. We believe that strong partnerships between home and school are the foundation for student success, and Meet the Teacher is a wonderful way to begin that partnership.

As we embark on this new year, I encourage you to stay connected and involved. Our Bob Hope Middle School team is committed to working hand-in-hand with families to ensure our students are not only academically successful but also prepared to be leaders and lifelong learners.

BHMS Student Ambassadors volunteered on Friday to help teachers prepare for the first day of school. We are so proud of our student leaders and thankful for their service! We can't wait to see our Eagles on Monday August 11.

Attention parents:
Young Fashions will be at Bob Hope Middle School in the gym this Friday August 8 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm. If you purchased a uniform and still needed a patch for your uniform, you may come on this date to have Young Fashions apply the patch.
