California voters to decide on GMO labeling | California Right To Know The California Secretary of State’s office announced tonight that the Right to Know initiative to label genetically engineered foods will be on the state’s November ballot. The Right to Know campaign turned in 975,000 signatures on May 2, almost twice the number needed to qualify for the ballot.

Rep. James Moran has asked that we support his efforts to stop Horse Slaughter in the U.S. by contacting the FULL House Committee on Appropriations. The message James Moran would like to be sent to each member of the Committee is: "SUPPORT THE MORAN AMENDMENT TO PROHIBIT USDA INSPECTIONS AT HORSE SLAUGHTER FACILITIES IN THE UNITED STATES".
