Are you looking for a outdoor midsummer program leading to a September spot in a deeply rooted in “following the child”, child centered, all day all year Montessori children’s house?

This summer it’s all about nature and science along with mixed medium art.

The children have planted and are harvesting raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, nasturtiums, as they watch their potatoes, cannellini beans, tomatoes, squash ( pattypan, zucchini, kurta, edible pumpkins and carving pumpkins ), herbs, flowers, and more grow. ( and water each day ).
We hatched and released butterflies, and have goldfinch, hummingbirds, robins, doves, crows, eagles and seagulls visit us in the trees.

Lead adult of the after school program (3:30-6), comes in at noon to help with transitions and readying the classrooms. Sub in morning occasionally when other staff are on vacation or out sick.

Child centered working environment in small school.
Sick leave and vacation, and more perks.

Beginning wage dependent on prior experience.

Must be willing to be trained if no prior Montessori experience.
