We participated in the Hands Across the Water pursuit race from Port Angeles to the Royal Victoria Yacht Club. DNFs all around. We were escorted out of the harbor by dolphins, flew the asymmetrical spinnaker all day. Sailed for almost nine hours. Finished with a beautiful dinner. Lots of sun and lots of fun.

So much on Wednesday:
We had another Scout come to her first meeting.
Kyleigh and Logan went over safety equipment onboard vessels we operate.
We delivered donated popcorn to the Military Sea Lift Command, their civilian operators, and the US Coast Guard.
AND DOLPHINS...PACIFIC WHITE SIDED DOLPHINS!!!!!!!!!! This pair has been hanging out in the bay for a month....BUT DOLPHINS! Running the vessel down and playing in the pressure wave of the bow.

We have been super focused on sailing for the last month. Lots going on. Ended up skying the jib halyard. Then fouling the same halyard. Going aloft getting under way. Then seeing gray whales.

Refreshing some anchoring knowledge. Then going right out and putting it into practice. Getting out on the water is always a great day.
