Two days down, an extraordinary year to go! School started yesterday, and by Friday afternoon, our classrooms are already buzzing with excitement, connection, and big ambitions. Every hallway, lesson, and smile is proof of what’s possible when we come together. Enjoy your weekend.

What an incredible day at our annual WBR Convocation! There was so much energy in the room today as we welcomed back our amazing teachers and staff to gear up for a brand new school year.
From non-stop hugs and high-fives as everyone reunited, to an unbelievable key-note message from the one and only Clint Pulver, our hearts are completely full.
Tomorrow, the doors open and the magic begins. We are officially ready to welcome our students back and spend this year Proving What’s Possible!

We are excited to announce that West Baton Rouge Parish Schools will participate in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for the 2026–2027 school year!

What does this mean for your family?

All enrolled WBR students can receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at NO COST every school day.

No applications or fees are required! Participation is automatic.

For students wishing to purchase extra items or a-la-carte snacks, payments can still be made online via MySchoolBucks.

Connecting with heart! Our newest educators spent the day diving deep into Capturing Kids’ Hearts training, focusing on what matters most: building strong relationships, fostering trust, and creating a positive, safe environment for every student who walks through our doors. Teaching starts with connection, and we can’t wait to bring this passion back into our classrooms!

Annual updates for ALL WBR students are now open. Every guardian must log into their OnCourse Guardian Account between July 16–30 to complete emergency contact, student info, and handbook agreements online.
