Head Start teachers and parent committees-do NOT have the final say in who participates in graduation, who is "dropped" or who can't attend school/activities.

That is an administrative decision that involves working with the family.

It is against Head Start's policy to deny, exclude or seclude any Head Start enrolled child their right to participate.

We are a federal program and because of that we CANNOT deny, exclude, or seclude any Head Start enrolled child from services or activities.

We want all children and their families to be celebrated and included, at ALL Head Start events. ❤️

If you have any questions, concerns or if you were told this, please call us. ☎️

It is not final until the Head Start Administrative office has delivered a "Dropped Letter"-which is signed on letterhead, because, again, its a formal process.
