Please continue talking to RFD on 121.0 and squawk a code as they give you one on initial contact as you fly from C77. Starting 10-29, the Class D is expanding from 4.1 miles in diameter to 5.4. We do not want to see further restrictions of our airspace. Talk to RFD and stay away from the centerlines of their active runways as UPS and Amazon pilots call FAA direct to voice their concerns, not our local controllers.
