We can't wait to welcome students to PBHS tomorrow, August 24! In order to kick off a great year, we have some reminders.

PBHS doors open at 7 am daily. The school day is 7:45 am - 3 pm. All students will enter through the main front door by the flagpole this school year. All students will be required to walk through the weapons detectors at entry.

On the first day of school, students will go to their assigned advisory classes by 7:45am.

We require students to carry their school issued Chromebook and charger in a backpack. Students are expected to arrive at school with their Chromebook charged.

Students are required to bring their Yondr pouch to school and secure their phones inside the pouch upon entry to the building. All students will have to show their pouch upon arrival. Students who have lost their Yondr pouch will need to purchase a replacement from the office before school starts.

🏫Welcome Back to PBHS!
We are excited to see our students on Monday, August 24! Check out the video for parent pick-up to help keep the traffic safely moving.
Remember:
1. Students are not allowed to load in the back or side of the building. Students only load vehicles/buses by the flagpole.
2. Pull your vehicle up close to the vehicle in front of you as directed so we can load as many vehicles as possible simultaneously.
3. Tell your car-rider student to pay attention. If they do not come to your vehicle when it is your turn, you will have to circle around the building again.

At Poplar Bluff High School, we are committed to providing a safe, secure, and respectful learning environment for every student.

As we begin the new school year, we ask all students and families to review our High School Dress Code and help us reinforce these important expectations. While we don't enforce dress code at Freshman Orientation or Open House, we noticed there were several dress code violations. The dress code will be enforced beginning on the first day of school.

🛡️ Safety & Security Reminder

For the safety of everyone in our building:

🚫 No hats are to be worn inside the school building.

🚫 No hoods are to be worn over the head while inside the school building.

These expectations help our staff:

Maintain a safe and secure campus

Quickly identify students and visitors

Foster a respectful learning environment

Minimize distractions during the school day

We appreciate the partnership of our students and families in supporting these expectations.

🎒 Poplar Bluff High School – Student Supply List 🎒

Courses are individualized at the high school level, so it is difficult to develop a final list of supplies needed for the school year. During the first few days of school, teachers will inform students of the supplies needed for their class and may require students to have specific supplies. Below is a list of general supplies that will be used.

For the complete District-wide School Supply lists, see https://www.pbmules.com/school-supply-lists.
