Pumpkin Patch Snack! Students will LOVE this pumpkin snack! A chocolate pudding cup, crushed chocolate sandwich cookies, pumpkin candy corn, and green icing is all you need.

Place a cookie in a plastic sandwich baggie and let the students smash their own cookie for some fun fine motor work. Then pass the icing bag around for them to create the vines and lastly, they place the pumpkins in the cup. So yummy and so much fun!

A full moon is coming soon. And a supermoon at that!

A supermoon occurs when the moon is full during the closest point in its orbit around Earth. The Sturgeon Supermoon will reach peak illumination at 2:32 ET on August 1, but you'll want to wait until after sunset to enjoy the full effect. It will be the first of two supermoons in August.

What is a sturgeon? A large fish that once lived alongside dinosaurs, it can range between 7 and 12 feet long (the longest on record measured a whopping 23 feet), with an average lifespan of 50-60 years (but some even older than 100 years).

Back to full moons... The next supermoon will be a blue moon (a calendar month's second full moon) on August 30. It will also be the biggest and brightest full moon of the year.

Set a reminder and don't miss the supermoon tonight!
