Lancers,

Its official.....We will case the flag of the 2d Airlift Squadron on 14 July 2016 at a ceremony starting at 0943. Please send me an email if you plan on attending, it would be great to see a big lancer turnout, but I realize the short notice makes it difficult. You can email me at [email protected].

Cheers,
Sully

Lancers,

I apologize for not providing any updates since August. There was not much to update besides to say "stand by."

It now appears we will receive approval from above to case the flag of the Deuce on 14 June 2016, along with the re-designation of the 43 AG to the 43 AMOG. We have not actually received the final approval, but I did want to get the work out. I will let you all know as things develop, but it is going to happen quickly.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Cheers,
Sully

Lancers,

If there is one constant in this Air Force it is change.........Due to the language in the NDAA and guidance from HAF and AMC, we have to put the casing ceremony on hold. We don't have an estimate on the length of the delay, but I will try and keep everyone in the loop as best I can. I will also post this on the FB page for SA.

Cheers,
Sully
