The PHS Prom and the Post-prom Party is THREE WEEKS away, and our fundraising crunch is on! This year's 2025 Post-prom Party event will be held at the North Potomac Community Recreation Center immediately following the Prom on May 16th! This event is made possible entirely through donations from the PHS community and from our business sponsors. We have not yet met our fundraising goal, and with your help, we can fully cover all event costs for the venue, entertainment, food, and prizes for our students. PHS Parents and Students: The annual Halloween Treat "Boo" Bag sale is ON!! This fundraiser supports the PTSA's Student Club Grant Program.

"Boo" bags are $5.00 each. Click the link below for more information. Orders can be placed online, and the PTSA will also be selling "boo" bags during lunch on Oct. 22 and 23 in the Admin foyer at the main entrance. "Boo" bag orders will be distributed during Advisory on Wednesday, October 30. Happy Halloween!

PARENTS OF SENIORS!!

The PTSA needs a few more volunteers to help set up and serve breakfast to PHS Seniors immediately preceeding the graduation rehearsal on Thursday, May 30. Volunteers should arrive by 7 am that day. We also need a few volunteers to help plan the event via a Zoom meeting at 8 pm on 5/28.

WE STILL NEED MORE DONATIONS OF FRUIT AND BEVERAGES!!

REMINDER:
The Poolesville High School PTSA May General Meeting will be held VIRTUALLY on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 7 pm. The meeting will include important graduation information and summer information from Principal Carothers.

In addition, PTSA members will vote for PTSA Officer candidates for President, 2nd Vice President, and Secretary. It is important that PTSA Members join the meeting because we cannot commence voting without a quorum of current PTSA Members. Please click below to join the meeting via Zoom.

The Poolesville High School PTSA is still accepting nominations for Officer positions of President, 2nd Vice President, and Secretary for the 2024-25 School Year!! Please consider nominating yourself for one of these positions. If interested, please send an email to [email protected], and we will immediately forward your interest to the Nominating Committee. The PTSA cannot function without filling these Officer positions, especially the role of President!! This is a great opportunity to usher the PTSA into a new era ahead of PHS construction Phase 2 completion and MCPS' planned growth of PHS!!

THE POST-PROM PARTY IS ON!

As you may know, the PTSA-sponsored Post-Prom Party is not able to be held at PHS for several years. The PTSA has spent many weeks trying to plan a Post-Prom Party despite several additional obstacles and unfortunate circumstances. After exploring many options, and with the support of the Junior Class SGA Officers and Mr. Carothers, the PTSA has decided to move ahead with a limited event which will take place at the Bethesda Marriott immediately following the Prom. We will have food, additional music, and importantly, prize drawings!! This will be a FREE event for those who purchase a prom ticket and attend the prom. (Juniors and Seniors not attending the Prom are required to sign up to attend the Post-Prom Party. Please click below to sign up.)

While we realize many students may have already reserved transportation companies to collect them at the Marriott at 11 pm, we hope that most will be able to remain at the Marriott for the party which will take place from 11 pm - 1:30 am.
