RSCA was founded in 2007 and has grown to offer 3 year-old preschool - 9th grade. We are accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). Risen Savior Christian Academy is a ministry of Risen Savior Lutheran Church to provide a classical Christian education in a modern, attractive facility near the Savannah Quarters development in Pooler, Georgia. RSCA is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International and offers Preschool 3s & 4s, Kindergarten - Grade 8.

Meet Mrs. Henrich, she is the fourth grade teacher at RSCA. Mrs. Henrich was born in Minnesota and has lived many places around the midwest, lived a year in the Czech Republic and lived in Canada for a decade and have loved spending the past year in this beautiful city! She and her husband, Pastor Mark have been blessed with daughters Essie (RSCA 2028) and Evangelina (RSCA 2030). They also have a dog named Toronto Weasley, Ron for short. Mrs. Henrich loves puzzling, reading ( Harry Potter,) playing steel pan , spending time with extended family, showing company around Savannah and traveling. She also loves teaching, learning new things and telling the story of HIM.

The first week of school
Is always exciting for many reasons, but the highlight is definitely the first chapel back where all the Grade 3 students and new students receive their Bibles to enthusiastic applause from the whole school. Jesus bless this new school year with many more moments that give opportunities to let his light shine!

Thankful Thursday! Meet Mark and Jessie Thiesfeldt. They have been serving at Risen Savior Christian Academy since 2018. Jessie teaches the 3-year-old preschool class and has experience as a preschool, kindergarten, substitute, and aide teacher. Mark brings years of experience as a teacher and principal, serving students in grades 1–8. Both are graduates of Martin Luther College with degrees in Elementary Education, and Mark also earned a Master of Science in Educational Leadership.
Jessie was born and raised in Florida, while Mark grew up in Wisconsin and Minnesota. They have been blessed with three children: Annalise (RSCA 2025), Graham (RSCA 2027), and Mabel (RSCA 2030). As a family, they are grateful for the opportunity to serve the students and families of Risen Savior Christian Academy.
