(8/21) After a week-long study of states of matter, Mrs. Hodum and Ms. Camron’s classes celebrated the conclusion of the unit with a delicious treat—Coke floats!
Coke floats were the perfect way to combine all three states of matter into one tasty experiment!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who donated to help make this celebration a hit! We appreciate you! ❤️ https://edl.io/n2222673

(8/21) Fourth grade gifted students took on “The Impossible Shape” challenge! Students first used their creativity and spatial reasoning skills to draw their own impossible 3D shapes. Then, working with a partner, they had to put their designs to the test by trying to build the impossible shape using only paper and masking tape!
This activity challenged students to think critically, visualize in 3D, communicate their ideas, collaborate with a partner, and persevere when things didn’t go exactly as planned.
Sometimes the best learning happens when students are given a problem that seems… impossible! https://edl.io/n2222656
