(10/9) This past Thursday, Mrs. Tutor's class geared up for Fall Break by playing a classic game of Jenga with a slight twist. Each block corresponded with an ELA question. (10/9) Mrs. Heatherly's math students are learning area and perimeter. They played a game of Area Tetris, where they drew an area card and had to find all the dimensions that equal that area. Then, they had to find the best spot for their chosen dimensions to fill up their grid first. The goal was to have as few empty boxes as possible at the end. https://edl.io/n2242047

(10/8) Mrs. Hodum's apple unit got a little creative! Students became creative illustrators as they used apple pieces as paintbrushes to paint their own apples and apple trees.
They explored how artists and illustrators use color, shape, texture, and nature to bring their ideas to life. The young artists had so much fun turning something as simple as an apple into a work of art! https://edl.io/n2241512

(10/7) Miss Mary Klaire and Mrs. Ann’s classes, with help from Mr. Clayton, had a wonderful time visiting the Resource Center/BLOOM Program on ICC Tupelo’s campus! Students explored farm-related items, learned all about pumpkins, and discovered new topics through hands-on play centers.
They wrapped up their adventure with a picnic while enjoying the beautiful view of the geese! What a fun day of learning, exploring, and making memories! https://edl.io/n2241332
