In a continued effort to help lessen the possible spread of germs, beginning Monday morning, one of our staff members will greet you outside the front doors of the center to es**rt children
Into the building. We will be allowing parents and other visitors into the center ONLY for urgent need. Please know we are not trying to keep YOU out, but the less traffic through the doors, the less the chance of germs catching a ride on one of us. We will not stop you from entering at this point in time, but we do STRONGLY encourage you to allow us to do that work for you. Please know that we are doing everything possible to keep the doors open and care available in the quickly changing time. The time may come when we do forbid any entry other than the children.
In addition, we sincerely ask that if you are off work, DO not bring or send your child to the center. We hate for children to miss BUT these are trying times and we must all work together.
IF it is absolutely necessary for you to come into the center, please do not bring siblings or other children or adults with you. Remember....the more carriers, the more germs.
Pick up time will work the same as drop off. We will get your child for you and bring them along with their things to your vehicle. We will give you a paper in the morning that we will ask you to display on the dash of your vehicle so the staff can quickly identify who you are picking up.
In my lifetime, I have never seen anything as extreme as this and we are working continuously to learn and implement methods that may help.
Please know we are not in panic over the virus.....only trying to reduce the “peak” of spread so that our healthcare system has the proper resources when needed. We know that our Father is in control and this too shall pass.
