What a showing of support today by members of this great community! Streator officers participated in the Cop on a Rooftop today at the Streator Dunkin’. While there, over $1300 was raised to help support the Special Olympics. I want to take this time to thank each and everyone who came out to support us, as well as our officers that came out to help!

Transition, Life Skills, SEAL & some of our Bulldog Buddies went on our yearly Streator Lazy Acres Club fishing trip! We caught lots of fish & had a great day! Big thanks to our SHS retirees Mark Yanek & Kirk Melody and Brad from Lazy Acres for making this trip possible for us each year! 🐟🎣

Life Skills took a train ride from Dwight to Pontiac and then enjoyed a lunch at Joe's Station House Pontiac. Kids were excited and very impressed. Amtrak was very accommodating and ready for us! A fellow customer at the pizza place paid our bill!

Yesterday was a great day for the Bulldogs as they competed in the 50M and Softball Throw. Notably, Gabe and Brock won 2 Silver Medals, Kirie secured Silver and Gold medals, Emma achieved Gold and Bronze, and Adam took 4th and 6th places.

Mrs. Robart's class got to ask questions to people in Australia and they answered lots of questions about their country! Big thanks Jenny and Craig Cooper!

Today, the Bulldogs achieved great success, with two students claiming state championships. Kirie and Jacque earned Gold Medals in basketball skills. Emma and Adam competed hard and also made us proud.
