Coaching a client and we worked through this: all too familiar right? We have all been there!

“When they ignore your struggle but show up to witness your rebuild,
it’s not concern — it’s control theater.”

They didn’t come to help.
They came to see if the version of you they built still holds up.

And you’re expected to smile and say,
“Thanks so much for being here.”

Imagine This:
• Mothers stop saying “I’m fine” and start saying,
“I’m drowning in expectations I never agreed to.”
• Fathers stop hiding behind paychecks and say,
“I’m terrified no one sees who I really am.”
• Partners say,
“I don’t feel safe pretending anymore.”
• Children say,
“I know when you’re lying. And I need you to stop.”
• You say,
“This is who I am. And I’m not shape-shifting anymore.”

And instead of breaking us?
It would heal us.

Because truth isn’t what separates us.
It’s the distortion that does that.

Most people run away from the mirror,
not toward it.
They run from silence. From slowness.
From the email they don’t want to write,
and the wound they don’t want to name.

But I’m learning to turn and face it.
To run toward what aches.
To sprint into the fire of my own truth
because I finally trust what’s on the other side.

The admin form.
The overdue conversation.
The memory that stings.
They all hold the same frequency key:
You can’t skip what wants to be seen.
But you can move through it with speed, power, and clarity
once you stop hiding from it.

I had a dream last night. Charlie Kirk came to me. He looked me straight in the eye and said ‘This life is what we make of it.’ I wasn’t even a follower—but now I understand…we don’t and shouldn’t have to be quiet anymore. It’s ok to talk. It’s ok to disagree. That’s where friends are made - over discussion.
