General Biology conducted their first lab in Mr. Butler's class by identifying organic molecules (lipids, proteins, and sugars). The next day, they will have to take their data and use their findings to figure out an unknown organic substance; but later be evaluated on their understanding of the experiment with the lab practical.

Students in Mr. Hunt's Introduction to Engineering Design course are starting off the year learning about isometric drawings. In time they will progress to using AutoCAD and Fusion technical design software. This course is the first of three in the Design Technology career pathway, where students are able to earn dual enrollment credit with IvyTech community college.
