When you see these students around, make sure to give them a shout-out and let them know how great they’re doing! We’re proud of the time, creativity, and effort they’re putting into representing the Raiders!

Southern Wells Family,

Thank you for your patience and understanding today. We know your kiddo may be stressed about returning to school tomorrow. We will have additional resources (counselors, therapy dog/s, etc) through the morning tomorrow if your kiddo is struggling.

We will be operating on a normal schedule.

If you did not receive all of the alerts today, make sure you sign up to receive those alerts.

Good evening Southern Wells families and community,

This afternoon, Southern Wells received a bomb threat. We immediately contacted law enforcement, who responded quickly and worked with us to ensure the safety of our students and staff. This included a response from a bomb sniffing K9 from the Indiana State Police.

As a precaution, we evacuated our students to ensure they were removed from the situation while law enforcement conducted a thorough search of our buildings.

Law enforcement has notified us that all of our buildings have been cleared. At this time there is no threat to the safety of students and staff.

We appreciate the quick response and professionalism of our local law enforcement partners, as well as the cooperation and patience of our students, staff, and families throughout the situation.

The safety of our students and staff will always remain our top priority.
